FLY FISHING NY CITY
City Limits
episode #1 NYC
In City Limits
Fishing, professional angler Mike Iaconelli is challenged to
catch a limit of fish entirely within the boundaries of some of
the USA’s greatest cities. Iaconelli is familiar with the
pressure of catching a limit of fish in a limited amount of time
because he is one of the top professional tournament anglers.
This “intensity of competition” is an integral part of City
Limits. Iaconelli has to quickly find fish on an unfamiliar body
of water and then figure out how to catch them. Not only will
viewers learn some of the surprising angling opportunities in
some of the country's largest cites, they will find how one of
the country's top fisherman catches his limit, or maybe the city
limits his catch.
This series follows Captain James Maratta, an old salt
when it comes to fishing, and his atypical crew of
wisecracking, lifelong fishing buddies from New York.
This motley crew of Brooklynites travel the globe in
search of the next fishing hot spot while serving up a
generous helping of New York attitude wherever they go.
Forget your quiet fishing trip, these guys are loud and
fiercely competitive...not to mention best friends who
give each other endless amounts of grief on the water.
From planning and booking the trip, to rising up to the
challenges and contests once they arrive, this
unconventional and hilarious fishing series will have
viewers tuning in to find out where the next "friggin"
bite is on. Episode#1 NYC airs 2-3-08
